CHEATING SONS TO PLAY ASIA SPOTLIGHT IN KOREA AND STRAWBERRY MUSIC FESTIVAL IN CHINA

Singapore band Cheating Sons will join up-and-coming Asian indie bands The White Eyes (Taiwan) and local Korean bands Pia, The KOXX & Guckkasten, at Asia Spotlight on Sunday, 18th September at the Bupyeong Art Center in Inchon. The two-day event is part of the Incheon Pentaport Music Arts Festival. The band also expects to play various club gigs and TV appearances in and around Korea following Asia Spotlight (tba).

Following the band's time in Korea, Cheating Sons will play at Strawberry Festival on Monday, 3rd October in Zhenjiang. Prior to the festival, Cheating Sons will be playing several gigs within Shanghai's indie music scene (tba), including the Yuyintang Live House and Anar Bar Lounge.

Cheating Sons' Renyi Wang enthused - "We are delighted to be traveling to South Korea to play at Asia Spotlight. We are looking forward to meeting the other exciting bands performing at the festival and checking out the Korean indie scene and culture. Hopefully we'll be able to leave our musical mark over there and put Singapore-made music on the map."

Stay tuned for more information on these exciting Cheating Sons events.

LYDIA LOW - ELECTRIC FLOWER EP

Lydia Low's debut EP, Electric Flower, is available now as a digital release, via Bandcamp

With pocket-sized songs that are easy on the ear but heavy on the heart, Texas-based singer-songwriter Lydia Low will touch a nerve and thrill senses alike. This 5-track EP was recorded in Lydia's native Singapore with local vets Kevin (Watchmen, Popland) Mathews and Patrick (Oddfellows, Typewriter) Chng and the measured, mature tone and atmosphere is the pleasing result. From the power pop stylings of the infectious opener "Electric" to the Brit-folk stomper "Can't Find the Time", Electric Flower will appeal to indie music lovers anywhere and everywhere!
